On January 17, 2025, TingHo Holdings officially announced its partnership with LALIGA to establish the first LALIGA Academy in East China – LALIGA Academy Shanghai, slated to open later this year. The signing ceremony in Shanghai was attended by distinguished guests including Jason Wei (Executive Director of TingHo Holdings), Carlos Ng (CEO of TingHo Holdings), Javier Tebas (President of LALIGA), Sergi Torrents (Executive Director for Greater China of LALIGA), Pilar Jiménez (CEO Asia of MediaPro Group), and Luis Antonio Calvo (Consul General of Spain in Shanghai).
As part of LALIGA’s global network of over 830 youth academies across 57 countries, LALIGA Academy Shanghai will advance grassroots football development worldwide.
